Shortly afterward, she shared a photo on Instagram of Christian on his knees proposing. She also posted a photo of her gorgeous designer engagement ring.

Sammi Giancola received a gorgeous double halo diamond engagement ring from her fiance. With the help of Sammi's sister, Christian went on a mission to find the perfect ring for Sammi. His efforts led him to Cozzi Jewelry, where founder Paul Cozzi Jr. oversaw the entire process. Paul founded Cozzi Jewelry in 1990, in Newton Square, Pennsylvania. The family-owned business specializes in custom-made engagement rings. All their rings are designed and fabricated in the firm's onsite workshops. Their work with Christian Biscardi, on behalf of Sammi Giancola, represents their dedication to making dream engagement rings for their clients. To begin the process, Paul and his father went in pursuit of the perfect diamond. They found six possibilities, which they showed to Christian. With Christian's approval, they opted for a princess cut diamond weighing slightly more than 2 carats. Once they found the right stone, Christian, Paul, and Sammi's sister worked together to design the engagement ring of Sammi's dreams. E! Online spoke with Paul Cozzi Jr., who gave them the scoop on Sammi Giancola's engagement ring. "The rest of the stones in ring are all round brilliant cuts, all G color (near colorless diamond) and VS2 clarity," he told the celebrity news outlet. The designer crafted a "custom made platinum mounting, with a square double cushion halo." (source)  

The Proposal

At EraGem, we must begin with the ring and work backward. In the real world, however, the ring is the icing on the cake. The cake, then, is the proposal. To plan this special event, Christian withstood a fair amount of peer pressure. Apparently, Sammi's fans and fellow cast mates frequently sent him not-so-subtle messages urging him to put a ring on it already. But Christian wanted his proposal to be perfect. In order to realize that perfection, he needed the perfect ring. Once he approved the design with Cozzi Jewelers, he waited one-and-a-half months for them to make the ring. Finally, he went all out to plan the perfect moment to pop the question. He took Sammi to a tropical paradise. Mums the word on the exact location. However, the photo they shared offers some clues. Palm trees, manicured lawns, and a summer dress lead me to guess he proposed at a resort near the equator. The photo they shared of the moment is precious. He's on one knee, offering her the ring. She's swiping her hand across her face, probably wiping away tears of joy. Of course, she said yes.  

Who Are These Two?

As I mentioned before, Sammi Giancola is best known for her role on MTV's reality show, Jersey Shore. She literally grew up on the Jersey shore, in a small town near the bay. All her life, Sammi has found a creative outlet in fashion and art. However, she also calls herself a tomboy and a serious athlete. She played soccer throughout high school and college. Sammi also played softball and participated in track. During her years on the reality show, Sammi established her own business. She launched Sweetheart Styles, a clothing boutique named after her nickname, Sammi Sweetheart. In her boutique, she offers a selection of clothes for all different tastes, hand-picked by her. She also created a fragrance, clutch purses of her own design, and launched a podcast with some friends, where they offer "real relationship talk." With the goal of focusing more time on her business, Sammi stepped away from the reality TV show. Around the same time, she met Christian Biscardi. The few facts circulating about Christian come primarily from his Instagram account. He likes dogs, cars, and working out. After looking at a few of his photos, I can tell he takes his workouts seriously! Sammi and Christian have dated for about two years.
