Layaway: We offer in-house layaway with a 25% deposit, with the remaining balance divided into three equal monthly installments. There are no upfront fees; however, if you cancel your layaway plan before completion, we will refund 90% of the total amount paid. The deposit and plan setup must be completed within 24 hours of receiving the setup link from EraGem. If not completed within this timeframe, we will cancel your order and relist the item(s). Items on layaway will be securely stored at EraGem until the final payment is made. Once paid in full, your item will be resized (normally within 2-3 days, if requested) and shipped via overnight shipping with an adult signature required. After receiving your item(s), our normal 60 Day 100% Money Back Guarantee applies.

Domestic
We securely ship all orders via a priority overnight service, ensuring a signature is required upon delivery to meet our insurance standards. Every shipment is fully insured for the full purchase price. While most shipments are handled by UPS, we can accommodate requests for FedEx, if preferred.
International
Due to complexities with importing, our return policy, and service warranty, we offer limited international shipping. If the desired delivery country isn't available at checkout, please email us, as most orders will require manual processing by EraGem. In many cases, only bank wire transfer payments will be accepted, and international orders outside the US may be restricted to purchases over $2000. We ship all international orders via FedEx International free of charge. Please note: Many countries impose import duties, taxes and/or customs fees. Any duties, taxes and fees levied by FedEx or countries for importing our items are the responsibility of the buyer.
Tracking you order
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email confirmation containing a UPS, FedEx, or USPS tracking number. This allows you to track your package online.
Insurance Restrictions
No changes to the address or delivery date are possible once an item is shipped, even in the event of a shipping delay. Therefore, please provide any special delivery instructions when placing the order or immediately afterward. Once tracking information has been emailed, the item has already been shipped, and modifications are not feasible. You may consider having the shipment held at a pickup location nearest to the delivery address, where you can collect it at your convenience. If you prefer this option, kindly request it in the notes field during checkout, and we'll be happy to arrange it for you. Most hold-for-pickup orders will be shipped via FedEx.
Christmas/Holiday Delivery Considerations
We strongly encourage customers who wish to receive their items by Christmas to place their orders as early as possible. During the busy holiday season, carriers often experience delays due to weather and increased volume. The shipping dates we provide assume no carrier delays, which may not always be the case in December.
Typically, resizing a ring takes an additional 1-2 business days before shipping. However, during December, this timeframe may extend to 3-4 business days. Therefore, we recommend considering resizing your ring purchases after Christmas. We're happy to include a size measuring kit in the package and cover the cost of return shipping to facilitate complimentary resizing after Christmas.
Returns

We are committed to providing our customers with the finest quality jewelry and customer service. We guarantee the authenticity and quality of every item we sell. However, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 60 days for a full refund of the purchase price. To facilitate holiday gift shopping, items purchased in October or November may be returned through January 31 of the following year.
1. Returns must be shipped back to us within 60 days from the date of receipt.
2. We appreciate original invoices and any paperwork be included with the return.
3. The merchandise must be unused (gentle wear is acceptable) and in the same condition as when it was received. Rings resized or items altered by EraGem remain fully eligible for full refunds. However, jewelry that has been altered by an external goldsmith or damaged may not be accepted.
4. You will receive a 100% refund of the purchase price credited back to the original payment method within 24 hours of us receiving the return. Please note that certain payment methods may take 3-7 business days to fully process the refund back to your account after it has been initiated.
5. International Returns: Refunds will cover 100% of the purchase price only. Any customs or import duties, brokerage fees, or taxes paid on shipments, as well as the cost of returning the item, will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Refunds on taxes and duties for returns may be available from your country's customs department. We recommend insuring your return shipment, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit for returns sent from outside the USA. Please ensure that on export forms, it is clearly stated that the shipment is a return to reduce the likelihood of items being held up in customs.
Please note: Providing complimentary returns incurs significant costs for our company. However, we believe it is crucial to offer our customers the chance to try our pieces risk-free.
If a customer has purchased and returned a significant number of items we may introduce a customer-specific restocking fee. We will notify customers of this before shipping out any future orders to avoid surprises. Additionally, we reserve the right to inform customers that we can no longer conduct business with them and cancel any future orders.
Exploiting our return policy to 'borrow' jewelry poses a detriment to our family business and may lead EraGem to discontinue business with customers we believe are abusing this policy.

Please note: It is EraGem’s intention to offer these programs indefinitely; however, we reserve the right to amend or discontinue this offer for any reason, as a whole, or on a case by case basis.
EraGem will offer a 100% purchase price trade up credit (less any sales tax paid) for a diamond engagement ring (natural or lab created purchased from EraGem) toward another diamond ring (or any item of jewelry) of equal or greater value (with the difference being paid at the time of exchange).
EraGem offers a buyback policy for items outside our 60 day full money back guarantee. EraGem will offer 65% of the original purchase price for natural and lab diamond engagement rings and 60% of the purchase price for all other jewelry (less any sales tax paid).

Warranty
While fine jewelry is designed to endure a lifetime, occasional servicing may be necessary. We recognize that vintage and antique pieces possess distinct qualities that set them apart from newly manufactured jewelry. At EraGem, we provide a warranty for every piece of jewelry sold.
Our service warranty does not extend to damage incurred by the center stone, including chips or breakage, whether accidental or resulting from normal wear by the new owner. Additionally, our warranty does not cover the loss or theft of primary or center stones, whether they are diamonds or colored gemstones. We strongly advise that all valuable jewelry be insured to safeguard against such incidents. Nevertheless, we are more than willing to assist with warranty repairs or replacements.
Please note: We temporarily suspend our warranty repair services during the busy holiday season from mid-November through the end of December. During this period, we ask that items needing service be held until the start of the new year. Rest assured, our full coverage warranty will be extended to cover any items requiring service that fall within this window, even if the one-year mark is reached before January.
Full coverage warranty during the first year of ownership
Any issues noticed with an item upon receipt or within one year thereafter will be promptly addressed at no cost. We will provide a return shipping label for you to send the piece back to us for alteration or repair. Given that many of the items EraGem offers are vintage and may not have been worn for an extended period, issues such as loose stones or snaggy prongs may be present but not immediately detectable until the item is worn. Rest assured, we take great care to thoroughly inspect and restore items before shipping them out.
The most frequent issues encountered with vintage jewelry, and indeed with all jewelry, include the loosening or loss of smaller accent stones, bending of shanks, or complications arising from previous resizing attempts.
Accidental Damage
We recognize that accidental damage may occur during normal daily wear. In such cases, we always offer to repair your item, charging only our cost for any repairs. We kindly request that you cover the shipping costs to return the item to us for repair in these circumstances.
After one year of ownership
We will offer any desired repairs at cost, with no mark-up. Prior to arranging the return, we will provide an estimate for the repair. For all repair services beyond the initial year, a $65 fee will be collected upfront to cover the insured shipping both ways. An insured return label will then be provided via email.
