DIY Dollar Store Jewelry Storage Crafts Photo by The Happy Housie   The dollar store offers inexpensive materials you can upcycle to create beautiful jewelry storage solutions. The following tutorials teach you how to easily transform dollar store finds into a tiered jewelry stand, an elegant earring stand, and a sparkling jewelry box.

Dollar Store Tiered Jewelry Stand

For our first project we turn to Krista at The Happy Housie. Before you begin, pick up the following from your local dollar store: 2 glass candlesticks, a pizza pan, a 9" round cake pan, and an 8" round cake pan. Krista recommends using Martha Stewart craft paint and E6000 craft glue, as well as a paint brush and the finish medium of your choice. A few simple steps later, and you have a beautiful jewelry stand for less than $10.   Photo by Momma From Scratch

An Elegant Earring Stand

Instructions for this gorgeous earring stand come courtesy of Momma From Scratch. In this video tutorial, Emily shows you how to easily transform a dollar store frame and candlestick into this earring stand. She embellishes the stand with craft paint, glue sticks, a wire mesh basket, and adhesive diamond wrap, all available from the dollar store craft section. Before you begin, collect your supplies and tools, including a pair of wire cutters and a glue gun. Emily demonstrates how to use the wire cutters to cut a rectangle of mesh and glue it into the frame. After painting the frame and the candlestick, she shows how to easily embellish the whole thing with the diamond wrap and your glue gun. The result, an elegant earring stand to grace your dresser.   Photo by Vanessa Vendetti

A Sparkling Jewelry Box

For our final dollar store jewelry storage project, I offer this tutorial from Vanessa Vendetti. Inspired by an $80 jewelry box she saw in a specialty store, Vanessa found a way to replicate the design for around $7. To recreate this gorgeous jewelry box, visit your local dollar store. Purchase a pair of matching frames with some depth to them. Also, glue sticks, a package of rhinestones, some ribbon, a package of foam hair rollers, and a fabric headband with a pattern that pleases you. From your local hardware store, you'll need a pair of small hinges and some mirror finish spray paint. You will also need a pair of pliers, some scissors, a seam ripper, some E6000 glue, and a microfiber cloth. Set out all your supplies, and follow along with her easy tutorial. Have you decided which of these fun tutorials you'll try? Please share a photo of your finished design! ~Angela Magnotti Andrews
