This gorgeous bracelet is crafted of solid 14k yellow gold in a beautiful geometric openwork design, featuring white gold stars studded with diamond centers. This bracelet, part of Suzanne Wilson's "Intricate Star" collection, exudes modern magnificence with a touch of classical Greece and a hint of the Wild West.
Such innovative melding of the old with the new is a hallmark of Suzanne Wilson Designs (SWD). Working from her Beverly Hills studio, Ms. Wilson employs master craftsmen who bring her designs to life with modern and ancient setting techniques.
Not only does she make bespoke pieces such as this lovely bracelet, but she is often asked to rework an heirloom piece into a modernized design. True to her own unique expression, these designs often incorporate traces of the heirloom's past into their new form.
Suzanne Wilson's commitment to the artistic expression of each individual woman she works with led her to abandon the fast-track of retailing through big-name houses, such as Neiman Marcus. Now, interested parties must make an appointment to visit her Benedict Canyon studio, where she will sit face to face with you before a sketchpad and a table strewn with glittering gemstones and inspirational treasures found in faraway places like India.
Just such a meeting was held several years ago between Ms. Wilson and the legendary Howard Stern. On the hunt for the perfect engagement ring for his lover, Beth Ostrosky, Mr. Stern sought out the romantic elegance of Suzanne Wilson Designs.
The result was a fairy-tale ring fashioned in the timeless three-stone style with a dazzling 5.2 carats of fiery, sparkling brilliance. In signature Suzanne Wilson style, the three emerald-cut diamonds are rimmed with a line of tiny white diamonds, and the elegant white-metal band is also paved in diamonds.
This gorgeous ring was joined on her wedding day in 2008 by another Suzanne Wilson design, the Laurel Wreath wedding band, amid the fantasy setting of the couple's LeCirque wedding. Glowing lanterns and a magnificent chandelier cast ambient light through the delicate boughs of 2000 weeping willows accented by stunning white orchids.
The stunning bride, wearing a white chiffon Marchesa gown, carried a magnificent bouquet of deep purple calla lilies. With heartfelt performances by the Dixie Chicks, Billy Joel, and Phoebe Snow, the couple exchanged their "gentle and soft and beautiful" vows before 150 of their closest friends {

The only ring bestowed during the ceremony was the SWD wedding band, as Howard Stern had his permanently etched into his skin--an Old English
B tattoo. A truly romantic set of rings in an extremely romantic setting.
