Of course, the reality TV star said YES!  

How Amy Roloff Met Chris Marek

Normally I shy away from writing about a celebrity's previous relationships. However, Amy Roloff, lives her life front and center in the public eye, relationships and all. Amy stars, along with her children and ex-husband, on TLC's reality show Little People, Big World. As a star on one of TV's longest-running reality shows, Amy Roloff has openly shared her life with fans. As a result, fans watched as she navigated her painful separation and divorce from Matt Roloff, her husband of 27 years and the father of her beautiful children. Though separated in love, the couple remained business partners. In fact, Amy lived on the same property with her ex-husband as they continued to operate the family farm. After some time passed, Amy pushed herself back out into the singles scene. About three years ago, during a singles mixer, Amy met Chris Marek. Later, they met again at another party. Feeling the sparks of their connection, Chris then invited Amy to take a motorcycle ride with him. From that moment on, the couple has enjoy three years of love and adventure, culminating this past month in a commitment to marry.  

The Proposal

This past July, a fan caught sight of a sparkly ring on Amy's finger and stirred up the rumor mill with whispers of an engagement. Pointing out that she wore the ring on her right finger, Amy explained that her new ring was actually an old one she had re-purposed. At the time, she had no idea that Chris intended to propose. He thoroughly surprised her the day after her birthday just two months later. After celebrating the night before, likely with family and friends, the two went out to one of their favorite restaurants for a quiet dinner date. At some point during the night, Chris surprised Amy by dropping to one knee and asking her to marry him. She said yes and then shared the news with fans shortly after on Instagram. Chris admitted he felt nervous prior to the proposal. He also shared the importance of choosing a heart-shaped diamond for his lady love. "I knew that's what Amy wanted," he told People. Amy clearly loves the ring. She shared a video with fans in which she shows off her heart diamond solitaire mounted on a yellow gold band. Beautiful!
