This fabulous circa 1940s diamond engagement ring is centered with one (1) square emerald cut diamond weighing 1.50 carats that is set into a four-split prong setting. The shoulders of the ring are each accented with two (2), bead set, round single cut diamonds. The ring has a "knife edge" style shank. The ring measures 7.5mm at the top, rises 5.1mm above the finger, tapering to 1.5mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank. Initials and the date "12-25-44" is engraved on the inside shank. The ring is currently a size 7.25.
