Tom Gossin, the country music performer who's the lead singer and guitarist in the band Gloriana, is a rising star in American pop culture, especially now that he has decided to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend. The gossip of his engagement with Jamie Moffett hit news stands a few weeks ago, but Tom delved into the details of the antique looking engagement ring during a recent interview with Country Weekly.
The news source reported that the ring falls into the category of vintage jewelry, infused with a European cut diamond from the Roaring Twenties on a carat-and-a-half platinum setting. This sizable piece resembles glamorous rings worn by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie Kennedy, making it perfectly suitable for someone marrying a celeb.
"I told him [my dad] how stressful I was about finding a ring," Gossin told the news source. "I wanted to find something special, one-of-a-kind and vintage. As we were saying this, and driving down 21st Street [in Nashville], we saw a sign in front of this little shop that said 'vintage engagement rings' right as we were talking about it."
