Super stylist Rachel Zoe – who's just as famous as the stars she dresses thanks to her hit TV show The Rachel Zoe Project – recently gave birth to her son, Skyler, and with a new baby comes a new way of dressing up.
Gone are the days of sequined jackets for lunch and statement dangling vintage necklaces for Zoe, according to ABC News. These days, she has to ensure that Skyler comes first and that what she wears is just as comfortable for her as it will be for her son.
"Chunky jewelry and sky-high heels are reserved for night," Zoe told the news source. "During the day you have to keep it minimal. You need to be realistic. I can't honestly hold my son, feed him and push a stroller in a sequin ball gown and 6-inch Atwoods, as much as I would love to."
For new mom, Zoe suggests opting for a comfortable pair of ballet flats with a simple maxi dress for that effortless yet chic look. When it comes to accessories, she recommends holding off the vintage jewelry for a night look to prevent the little ones from tugging on them.
