It seems that Paul McCartney is ready for another round of wedded bliss. The iconic Beatle's girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, was recently snapped by the paparazzi sporting a giant piece of bling on her left ring finger.
According to Life & Style magazine, the 68-year-old spent $650,000 for the bauble. The piece resembles a vintage engagement ring – the huge round-cut diamond is set in a platinum band with interesting detailing. Of course, for McCartney, every penny spent was worth it for his darling, who he met in 2007.
It also looks like the singer isn't the only one smitten with the 51-year-old businesswoman. With the recent announcement of their engagement, friends and relatives are showing their support for the couple. The View co-host Barbara Walters said of Shevell, "I love her very much. Her mother, who died, was my first cousin. And I have been very close to this young woman." McCartney's kids are also said to be very thrilled for their father's decision to finally gift Shevell with a diamond engagement ring. According to People, the singer's designer daughter, Stella McCartney, approves of the relationship.
