JWoww's Engagement Ring

Presented to her during a skydiving trip by fiance Roger Mathews, a truck driver from Maine {WetPaint}, the ring is a real stunner. In partnership with Beverly Hills jewelry designer, Layna Friedman, Roger set about choosing a ring to fill JWoww's greatest desires. The 'Jersey Shore' actress told In Touch that she "always said, 'I want a ring like you--big! The bigger the better!'" And, boy, is it big! According to Ms. Friedman, the central stone is a cushion-cut diamond which weighs over 5 carats {JCK}. In the official photo, the substantial central stone is surrounded by a halo of fairly large round brilliant, prong-set white diamonds. Just where the 18k white gold shoulders begin, a cluster of stunning pink diamonds give way to a cascade of round brilliant white diamonds which line the rest of the band. The pink diamonds in particular are a signature choice made by designer Layna Friedman, who created what are reported to be JWoww's favorite Barbie™ Rocks {MTV}. The designer worked closely with Roger for several months to design a "big, bold, and very feminine" ring {JCK} for a "modern day princess" {Abazias}.
