Many celebrities these days are quick to pop the question with antique engagement rings and walk down the aisle, but tying the knot immediately isn't right for everyone – specifically Nina Dobrev.
The Vampire Diaries star has been dating her fellow castmate, Ian Somerhalder, for quite some time. However, she has smashed all rumors that say she will be sealing the deal with Somerhalder in the near future. Earlier this year, many people said that Somerhalder was ready to propose, but chose to wait after Dobrev said she wanted to focus on her career, according to OK! Magazine.
It seems that Vampire Diaries fans will have to wait a bit longer to see the wedding come to fruition.
"I'm a career woman and a young, very driven woman and I've got a lot I have to accomplish before I settle down and have kids and do any of that," Dobrev told Access Hollywood earlier this year.
Dobrev recently followed up on her intentions and confirmed that wedding is still far off in the distance. Perhaps when the two decide to tie the knot, Somerhalder will propose with a vintage engagement ring. After all, this style is all the rage in Hollywood and you can't go wrong with a timeless design.
