Jewelry Consignment
There are good reasons to consign your fine estate jewelry rather than just sell it. Jewelry Consignment almost always will net you more money for your jewelry than selling it outright. The only downside to consignment is that it takes time to sell some items.
If you have jewelry to sell, like an estate collection from a Family member or just fine jewelry items that have not been worn in years and are sitting in a safe or safety deposit box, consignment may be the right choice.
There are likely a few local jewelry stores that will take in select items on consignment; however, we are unique in that we have an international ranked website that specializes in selling vintage, antique and estate jewelry worldwide. Many styles may not be currently popular here in the Northwest and are unlikely to sell here locally. Our site effectively reaches both National and International jewelry buyers. We have also recently opened a retail showroom in the Seattle area, in downtown Bellevue, for local buyers to be able to view the items in person that they find online.
In most cases consignment sellers take a percentage of the final sale, usually between 40-60%. We are different. We establish the fair price you are going to receive when we find a buyer. The price you get for each item is set ahead of time and is normally based on a percentage of a current appraisal of the items. Consignment typically nets a person 20-40% more than selling.
Most often there are a mix of items in any jewelry collection, some that will make sense to sell now that gold and platinum are near all time highs, but for many pieces consignment will make the most sense.
We are open by appointment 9:30-6:00pm weekdays to take the time with you individually to discuss the items you are interested in selling or consigning through us. Weekend appointments may also be available. We are fully insured for all consignments in our possession and have a secure and comfortable office/showroom for you to sit down with us.
